Materials, Quality and How We Build

The difference between a product that lasts ten years and one that fails in a season is almost never visible in a photo. These are the standards we build to.

Leather

Full-grain cowhide, typically 1.2 to 1.3 mm for racing suits, pre-treated for abrasion resistance. Softer goatskin where flexibility matters more than slide protection. We will tell you the thickness and type before you order.

Protection

CE-approved armour at shoulders, elbows, knees and back, held in shaped pockets so it cannot migrate on impact, with external TPU sliders where the first contact happens.

Stitching

Double- and triple-stitched safety seams using bonded nylon thread, with the main impact seams hidden rather than exposed. Seams fail before leather does, which is why this matters more than the graphics.

Fabrics and embroidery

Colour-fast fabrics chosen for weight and wash performance, and embroidery digitised properly before it goes on the machine so that edges stay clean and stitches do not lift.

Before it ships

Every piece is checked by hand against the order specification — measurements, colours, branding and finishing — before it leaves us.
